I make a note of this word or phrase gleaned from a song I hear, a poem I read or another source I encounter. By isolating that word or phrase and bringing it back into my studio, I am able to feel the excitement, sadness, joy or empathy expressed through the words. What results from this process are works of art that express an immediate search for meaning inherent in our daily lives, namely, the movement towards non-attachment, faith, surrender, and love. © 2012 Meera Sethi Creative. |
