ART

Meera Sethi is a visual artist working in the mediums of painting, drawing, graphic design and photography. Her multidisciplinary work addresses
the joys and challenges of living in a third space where values and images from two distinct cultures collide creating ruptures, fissures, and hybrid
ways of being and doing. This experience finds expression in the many references to North American and Indian popular culture in her work. Meera
is particularly interested in Eastern textiles and patterns, fashion, clothing and sexual expression, South Asian religious and cultural identities and
home interiors. Meera's aesthetic is full of minute detail, lush colour, geometric abstractions and minimalist clarity.

DESIGN

In addition to making art, Meera runs MISC, an independent design company that guides nonprofits and small businesses to communication
success. Balancing aesthetic freshness with a commitment to clarity, MISC designs reflect the energy and imagination demanded by many of it's
